Family Christmas Card

This is our Family Christmas Card I designed for this year! I made it in Polaroid My Memories Suite

We hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!

Christmas Blocks

My sister bought these wooden blocks and left me a set in the Spring and I couldn't decide what to do with them until I realized there are 9 letters in Christmas! Yay!

 The blocks are 1 1/2 inches square and I started by spray painting them red. I mod podged some cute glittery Christmas paper onto them and used my cricut to cut out the letters onto black vinyl. I finished it off by using glitter spray paint to mist some sparkles onto it. Nice finishing touch, if you ask me :)

 What I love most about these blocks is you can arrange them so manu different ways! You can spread them out, or stack them up depending on how much space you have to work with!

 This arrangement happens to be my favorite! Love them!



Our Christmas

This is what our home looks like this Christmas. I love the classic red and gold in my Christmas decorating. I love how the gold just glows with the lights on my tree

 I also love how my bulb wreath I made last year brings it all together so nicely

Card Clips

Some friends of mine found this idea on Pinterest and we all wanted to make it for our Christmas cards this year!

 We got the clothespins at Walmart and painted them each red and green. My friends even added white to theirs, but I wanted to stick with the bright colors. Then, we cut out some pieces of scrapbook paper to fit on each one and used mod-podge to add them on. The finishing touch was a button on the top, and we all agreed that it was best if you left half without the buttons

You then just tie your ribbon around a door, yoiur kitchen cabinet doors, or wherever you want to hang your cards and clip them on! I only used half my pins this year, but I think next year I will add another ribbon below the one I have and add the rest of the clips there. Hope you have as much fun with this one as I did! Christmas Ornament Wreath

Early in December, I got with a group of girlfriends and we made this ornament wreath! I love how it turned out! We found the idea on Pinterest and got to work. The ornaments were from the dollar store or wherever we found them for cheap. Also, we used the plasic ones so it was not so fragile

 We each got a metal clothes hanger and unwound the top and shaped it into a circle. We cut off the curly end of the hanger to string on the ornaments, but we left the curved hanger top to give it more length. We then hot glued the top of the ornamnt onto the ornament so they didn't pop off once we strung them. Then, just string your ornaments onto the hanger in your own desired order. Some like random and some like order. Whatever works for you. Then, when we were finished we looped the ends of the hanger together and added a cute ribbon to hang it with. I love how it turned out and how everyones was different from eachother. Thanks for the fun time ladies! 'Til next time!

Candy Cane Cake

I got a new cake platter for a Christmas decortaion this year and wanted a bundt cake to put in it. I tried twice to make a bundt cake and it broke apart both times! So, it ended up that I made 2 pound cakes instead. They BOTH came out clean and pretty, but the best part was the taste!

It is made with a cake mix, but you mix a part of the cake mix with peppermint and a little red food coloring and it looks really cute and tastes even yummier!

Christmas Table Runner

I LOVE this table runner and it was totally made-up. I bought a charm pack for a specific table runner pattern, but decided I didn't like it very much. I just pieced the squares together and added ric-rac with the border. I also had it machine quilted. It was really simple, but looks super cute!

Christmas Skirt

I had some extra Christmas fabric and didn't want it to go to waste, so I whipped up this skirt for my daughter, Cali. It was mostly made with parts of a charm pack for the main part, then I used my pattern I have for the Girly Skirt to do the waist and the hem. I finished it off with a little ric-rac

Cali loved her skirt and I made it big enough for her to wear again next year!
